Residents will gain easy access to health services when a circuit is built connecting the camp grounds on the Barcoo River to the Blackall Hospital.
The two-kilometre asphalt pathway will suit unstructured recreation with 10 exercise stations, shade structures, seating and solar bollard lighting.
Meandering through a pleasant landscape planted with native shrubs, the new pathway will connect to existing pathways and provide access for all modes of pedestrian transport including mobility aides and prams as well as cyclists and walkers.
