The $365 million Building our Regions program supports local government infrastructure projects in regional communities that create flow-on economic development opportunities and jobs.
The program has a strengthened focus on delivering more enduring economic outcomes for regional communities, targeting funding toward job-creating infrastructure that will improve economic conditions and liveability.
The $70 million Round 5 will be open for councils with shortlisted projects to submit their business case applications from Wednesday 30 October 2019 until Wednesday 27 November 2019.

Building our Regions has allocated funding towards 223 projects across 66 local government areas in regional Queensland, supporting an estimated 2419 jobs and attracting additional investment of $487 million from councils and other organisations.
This includes 49 projects approved under Round 4.
